New Enterprise Competition – Main Winners

We told you about the People’s Choice winner but not the main winner!

So…introducing….Bristol Alumnae Hazel and Amber, aka Peequal!!

How better to describe them than in their own words:

“Going to festivals for the last ten years and working at festivals over the last two summers, in my break I had to choose between going to the loo or getting food. The queues were just too long for the toilet.” – Hazel, Co-Founder. This is SO common in every public event, from theatre intervals to music festivals, women have to wait inline. In fact, women queue up to 34 times longer than men. For every women’s public toilet there are 10 male urinals. Our solution is Satis, the women’s urinal. Our vision is help bring about gender equality through sustainable products. Mission- provide festivals with women’s urinals that increase efficiency by reducing queues whilst protecting women and the planet.

What worthy winners  – Congratulations!!
